NEW INDIE-ALT-POP ALBUM EP BY THE COMBAT!

The Haunting by The Combat (from London) is a great vibrant EP that should help this newcomer get a boost in the electronic-pop genre of mainstream music. I really enjoyed the mixture of electronic-pop melodies against light, alternative drums and guitars. The vocals are a great hear in this EP.

Ps: Love the EP album cover art! I found it pretty cool and attractive to the eye.

NEW ALBUM FILLED WITH POWERFUL POP-ROCK LOVE SONGS

Morgan Karr presents listeners with a collection of sweet pop-acoustic-rock love songs. I love the mix of fast tempo and hard-hitting emotional choruses against the slower downtempo verses.

Take a listen of his album Yellow Skies below!

NEW ZEALAND FEMALE NEWCOMER RELEASES HER NEWEST SINGLE!

What Would I Give is the latest single by singer/songwriter Lisa Crawley. It's a cute and adorable pop love that drifts me back into the early 20th century rhythms.

AMAZING NEWCOMER FIND - MIKE DIGNAM'S FRESH SUMMER POP TRACK!

Mike Dignam presents listeners with a wonderful pop tune to rock your heads too! Keep Up Lady from the album Paint is definitely going on my ipod, and will probably be set on repeat for the next couple of weeks. This is a hot tune to lay your hands on. I already feel my feet getting into a groove.

AMAZING INDIE-ELECTRO GROUP! THIS IS A MUST BUY ALBUM!

Urbantramper produces eargasmic electronic melodies that can uplift your mind into another dimension. This New Zealand Electo Trio has blown me away! A must have for all electronic fans.

My thoughts on each track:

Planes - Groovy, funky, electro-catchy, cool vocoder effect, amazing fusions of synths
Sail On - Slow to begin with, but at around 1.25 seconds I fell in love with song (beautiful ballad)
My Heart Beats Slow - Love the repetition in lyrics and build up to jamming beat
Great Open Sea - I could drift to sleep hearing this one (haunting synth melody and lullaby chorus)
Sailors - Pop/dance elements in this one, great tune and rhythm and melody twists.
BBHBS - Really enjoyed the Auto-tune & Vocoder vocal effect (sweet 90's disco-pop sounding chorus, and hectic beat breakdown after chorus)

K SERRA: HOT NEW INDIE-POP RADIO HIT! WITH LYRICS!

K Serra releases a brilliantly upbeat indie pop track titled Radio Waves. Wow, this song has left me speechless becomes it is just damn amazing. It's got all the elements of a pop hit, which includes gorgeous vocals, an original jamming beat, creative lyrics, and that dash of an indie-electro feel.

Radio Waves - K Serra (MUST HAVE)

Lyrics:

Where are you now?
How is your love?
Is she what you've been dreaming of?
Do you think of me like you worried you would?
Or did you forget like I said you could?

Even when I was ashamed, you made me feel safe
You lifted the veil but then you pulled away
Even when we were apart, you made me feel touched
I won’t forget, I won’t forget it

Like all the old songs from/on the radio waves
When we danced the night away - oooh
They’re playing em again and I swear I hear you say
"I’ll remember the days
When we were in love"

We sat by the fire, all night side by side
You played me your songs and i sang you mine
We drank a shot of whiskey, and then you kissed me
After we danced the waltz in the south

Even when I was ashamed, you made me feel safe
You lifted the veil, and then you pulled away
Maybe it became too real, you never did say
And I won’t forget - I won’t forget it

Like all the old songs on the radio waves
When they danced the night away -- oooh
They might have faded out but they won’t fade away
I’ll remember the days
When we were in love
