Sixteen year old Melbourne pop diva, Rachel Costanzo has announced the release of her debut single, Blindside available on iTunes now. Co-written and produced by the talented Michael Paynter and Michael DeLorenzis at MSquared Productions, the single is lifted from Rachel’s forthcoming EP set to hit stores later this year.

"Blindside" begins with a beautiful piano intro before the beat becomes stronger. The song is actually quite addictive and I can already see it hitting radio stations all over Australia. Rachel Constanzo has a beautiful and surprisingly powerful voice that works really well with creating the melody. The production of both the song and video noticeably enhance the amazingness of the song. "Blindside" is a spectacular song with meaningful but catchy lyrics.

The Jungle Giants - Skin to Bone (Song Review)

You may be aware of the popular Australian indie-pop band “The Jungle Giants.” This Brisbane born band comprises of members Sam Hales (Vocals/Guitar), Cesira Aitken (lead guitar), Andrew Dooris (Bass Guitar/Backing Vocals) and Keelan Bijker (Drums).

Track Review - Skin to Bone:

The Jungle Giants have always been more at home with the strong pop influence in their indie-rock sound, and after checking out their much anticipated video for ‘Skin to Bone," it’s not so difficult to imagine why this group is making Australian charts. If you’re heading over to Australia this year, make sure you go and hear this band live! It’s one which impresses. 

“Skin to Bone” (featured on their debut album Learn To Exist) is easily one of the band’s most experimental tracks yet, with a brilliantly catchy vocal opening and groovy guitar tunes, progressing into what could be labelled as the catchiest indie-pop track of the band. The chorus takes on an up-tempo pop/rock vibe with 70‘s rock hints in the old “wuh-ta-du-du-too-ooh-ooh-wooh-ooh” vocal riff. Sam Hales puts on an excellent performance, bringing back those heart warming lyrical content and kooky vocals. Quite different to anything we’ve heard from the band before –  this being one of their most impressive release out of all their previous singles. 

 I personally love the sound

It’s a track with a killer feel-good melody, with powerful hard-drumming and jamming guitar riff breakdowns. Listeners could describe this song in warm adjectives; fun, colorful, powerful, energetic, bright and vibrant, and the list goes on. ‘Lovers Anthem’ is a soulful melodic, rnb ballad – with quality vocals  delivered by Melbournian, Emrah Dean. It’s a sweet listening that makes rnb sound effortlessly soothing and gentle. Emrah Dean is able to grab the listeners attention through his repetitive but catchy chorus phrases.

Hint Hint: Makes use of the key phrase "Lovers Anthem, Lovers Anthem, Lovers Anthem.."

This is definitely one of my personal favorite from his collection because of the piano instrumental (credits to Jhay C) which adds a more mellow vibe to the general sound. If you love slower rnb tracks, that touch on the pop genre, Emrah Dean is your go-to-guy for a next listening.

The rnb singer has also released some other worth mentioning tracks such as: Make it Happen, Up N Down, and his debut single So Over You. There's a good chance Emrah Dean will be experiencing more success in Melbourne if he decides to release a properly developed music video - I know for sure I'll be updating readers with any future video releases. 

Emrah is one singer who can easily ignite some popularity amongst Australian singers with his with smart lyrics and charming voice. I’m sure the ladies will be impressed with the cover art for the video, which features a dashing black-and-white photo of Emrah.

If you’re looking for something smoother than the usual radio club dance tracks, “Lovers Anthem,” is sure to impress, offering soft, yet still sweet and cutely phrased, vocals and lyrics.

Omar Dean has released his first full length music video for ‘Runaway,’ featuring Sophia Hope on the vocals. This is a fun and cute music video by the newcomer Aussi boy-band Masketta Fall. This is definitely one of my favorite pop-rock tracks that have released from the recent months. It's got great lyrics, and the chorus is catchy and easy to sing along with. I could hear this song from start to finish, and have it set on repeat because it's that enjoyable. I'm very impressed with this band, and I'm looking forward to hear more from them. Hopefully their future releases are as catchy!

Tra$h party is indie-pop track that breaks traditional American style, with quirky, wholehearted lyrics that feature a fresh Australian feel in it's composition of a light-rock jam . This song isn't a head-banging explosion for the ears, and instead settles for a chill-wave punk track that reminds me of the popular Aussi band The Midnight Beast - only with a whole less of pop in the melody.
